Still adding details to this build, before calling this finished. But thought I'd showed it, seeing that it was close to finish. Yep! Another anti-gravity vehicle. I can't seem to get enough. I tend to want to turn everything in to a floating subject. :)

For this conversion, I used the Revell Ford GT vehicle and did some major surgery to it. The original engine was very basic block engine. But the overall design made this a sweet candidate for a super bad and awesome looking anti-gravity vehicle. Lots of small misc. from my 'box of tricks', was used to give the engine a more brutal look.

Since I did the F1 hover race car(found on this forum as well), I just went ahead and did one for the Le MANS racing fans. The anti-gravity pods simple scratch builds using odds materials from household materials and parts from other kits. So far, I think the look says it all. Hope to finish this up in a week or two. waiting for a figure to go along with this bad***! See you when it is done. Enjoy the photos.

Thank you kindly. Mine is pretty much done. Just had to had some details here and there and make the base a little more interesting. I am testing out another addiction. To the build it not too sure.  But will see if it suffice the way it already is.

Your builds look fantastic. The build in the second link, I've seen before and have shared on 'Atmospheric Anti Gravity Based Models' "Facebook' page.

The more and more antigrav model kits based on real cars and trucks I see, the more I want to do one.

I was more fan of your first iteration. I find that the bumper(?) are breaking the elegant/aggressive line of the car.

But it's still a cool kitbash  ;) !

What bumper line? I have not changed anything there.

The black part on the front an rear of the car, I don't know what they are supposed to be (hence the bumper name :white-flag:). They were not on your kit on your previous set of pics.

If you are referring to the big black arcs or half circular disc things, at the front and rear of the car, they are not bumpers. The car is just resting on them.

:haha:, my bad ! I thought they were parts of the kit.

So, they're just props...
I have to admit that I had the same feeling as Helix. Thought these black archs were added parts to the car...

I just needed something for the car to rest on, that's all. More like a landing pad type support.
